Report: Nigeria and 16 Other Countries Can Now Fly To Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced travel requirements involving the lifting of restrictions on Saturday 5th of March 2022. The Kingdom also removed many COVID-19 rules, giving a green light for the 2022 Hajj exercise.

As reported by several news outlets, Saudi Arabia has announced that Nigerians and 16 other countries can now travel to the country for Hajj and Umrah after removing several restrictions. The other countries include South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, United Republic of Comoros, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan.

In the wake of the Omicron outbreak late last November, the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia suspended all flights from Nigeria and other countries on the 8th of December 2021.
