New travel requirements for inbound travelers into Nigeria
New travel requirements for inbound travelers into Nigeria were announced during a national briefing organized by the Presidential Screening Committee (PSC) in Abuja. Fully vaccinated inbound travelers (arriving in Nigeria) would no longer need to undergo the Covid-19 PCR test before departure.
The Presidential Steering Committee constantly advises citizens to use a face mask in enclosed environments and be cautious about using a face mask in open spaces.
Nigeria has vaccinated over 20 million people, both fully and partially, which is low compared to Nigeria’s 216.7 million citizens.
Boss Mustapha urged Nigerians to get vaccinated and follow all Covid-19 protocols within Nigeria. And the destination countries (for those traveling abroad).
These International Travel Requirements will become effective on April 4, 2022.
